The Central basement has a new addition \o/

It's pretty cheap yumyum Korean food place called Rolling Rice (damn cute name) and I really think they're really affordable compared to many Korean food outside and the food is pretty nice! So far haven't tried much on their menu but I really love their rice rolls, idk if they should be called mini kimbap but I shall cos they cute like sushi. And I always order their Spam roll (luncheon meat) and they have other meat too, like fried chicken, etc.

Set meals are really affordable imo, you can choose a main e.g. noodle, toppoki, or sth else and then a row of roll. You can also have a roll combo at a cheaper price too! Definitely something for everyone hoho. And you can get Korean can drinks too (though a bit pricey but well)

Very lazy to blog so let the photos tell the story~

Post AFASG13 Post

I didn't really know where to post this but since I have a blog here, might as well use it.

AFASG13 marks the debut of our little circle in an event, and it was a memorable and really different and exciting one! Every other year we were excited about going around, buying merch, meeting cool cosplayers and guests that they bring in but this year I was entirely excited and nervous about something totally different.

We managed to get a booth and we named ourselves Kamikiya by putting our names together. It was an enriching experience and I learnt a lot about business, being prepared and a lot of things in general. There were a lot of people who helped us and supported us, and I really really couldn't thank them enough.

Everyone was so nice and such angels and there were a lot of really cute people we met in the event that gave us a moral boost. It was really nerve-wrecking how each person passes by your booth and look at what you have to offer, and to be honest, I was panicking on the first day when we first sold something. It felt good and I feel proud of my very talented friends.

It was a pity that I wasn't the artist and I was merely helping the rest out in selling them at the event. We received a lot of praises about the art and stuff and I really wish I could convey their love and praises to our artists properly TuT I will work hard as well and hopefully contribute to this circle more in future. Thank you my slaves, you've all worked really hard.

There was a lot I learnt this year, and definitely tells a lot about myself and all the planning I've failed to do. Hopefully the next event, if we do do it, we will be able to work harder and bring better products to everyone. I'm really really really thankful to everyone who has helped us out and supported us TuT

You guys are truly the angels in my life!!!

Japanese Food Cravinggggggggg

We went to Osaka Ohsho @ Raffles City Shopping Center for lunch meeting cos' Boss said I could pick the place and since I've heard so much about their gyoza and haven't been there before, so I thought why not? 不去对不起自己啊。

I saw some peeps on my IG posting this so I ordered it (I forgot what it's called, but apparently it's Popular in Japan or something). You can check out their online menu on their website. $12.90 for this exclusive GST/Service charge.
Well basically, i think the portion is pretty huge. The egg is REALLY thick and REALLY fluffy. If you're a fan of egg, this would probably be really good for you. If you're the kind who can't really take eggs that are just nicely cooked, y'know like those a bit raw egg taste kind, I think you can avoid this. The gravy (?) is really thick and slimy as well, but not salty at all. Beneath the egg is rice so every mouth you eat will consist of a tiny bit of rice + a lot of fuwa fuwa egg + thick gravy. It's a bit too much for me, but if you're the type that likes stronger tastes it'll probably be a good deal.

Their gyoza though, I think it's really nice. It's not the type where the skin is extra thick and meat extra tiny, but instead the skin is thin and the meat tastes good too. I love the soup, lol, it's just egg soup. But if you order this meal... I don't know how many eggs you'll be consuming so if you have cholesterol problems, this meal might become a problem :\

Lately I'm so broke due to the small booth we're setting up so having a good meal made me really happy TuT I missssssssssss good food so much omg I really really really really miss my ramennnnn

November should come soon so I can eat good food soon.

A great Friday and many nice experiences,

Friday was Sam's birthday and we went to Wild Honey to eat the Eggs Benedict that she was craving for. Tbh, i've never been there nor have I eaten it before so it was a pretty new experience. The shop's ambiance is really nice too and makes a really good hangout place.

I was quite surprised how wonderful the Eggs Benedict tasted and how filling it was despite looking pretty small portioned. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE MUSHROOMS. I have no idea what mushroom that is but apparently it's used in the mushroom pasta that I really love at Dulcet too. I really liked this and maybe one day I'll bring others back to try as well hehe.

There was this REALLY beautiful painting behind us and damn I was staring at it the whole time and so distracted that I feel really bad for Sam cos' half the time I was just staring at the strokes of the painting //// I made it a point to take a photo but I think if you really see the painting, it's really wayyyyy better. Gosh, if only I can ever paint something like this. If only.

After dindin, Sam said she wanted to buy some Macarons and so we headed down to Taka to grab some. I've never eaten it before either since my impression was that it's reallyyyyyy sweet and I kinda don't really like too sweet and sugary stuff... But Sam was kind enough to sponsor me one so I had my first Macaron too *A* I picked a Pistachio one cos' I was convinced everything else would be too sweet for me, but who knows. The rest was Sam's and check out her colour scheme, it's the same LOL.

We hung out at the Starbucks near my house for a while since she wanted to make me eat the Macarons and also to chill and chit chat for a while and so we did. It was pretty funny how my cup came and dude there was a long-ass message on it. Usually they would write your drink's name, your name, or idk what else it could be but this was the first time I saw such a long message lol. And after finishing our drinks, we realized that they even drew moustache on the starbucks mermaid (?) lololol!!!! Tbh, it's quite a pleasant surprise, pretty interesting to see something different when you get your drink ;-)

Lately, I realize that I'm starting to meet people individually instead of the whole group of people like before.. Sometimes, I think smaller is good, You get to talk more, engage more and feel more connected to each other. Plus, smaller groups means nobody would be left out and nobody would have to feel upset about something..

A lot of things happened recently and a lot of things changed, but I'm sure it'll all be okay in the end. Hopefully.

RAMEN CRAVINGGGGGGGG

I know it's kinda random, but it's actually not. I haven't had ramen in a long long long time and the other day I was just scrolling through my IG and woah, check out all the ramen I used to eat. Gosh. I miss Santouka, I really miss it. And there's so many other ramens that I haven't tried and well, this ramen craving needs to be satisfied.

And being the slight M i always am, here's a post dedicated to Ramen and let me just use this as an excuse to post ramen photos. The last time I ate ramen was a couple of months back... Omg...... I really really really really miss Ramen TuT

Santouka, my all time favourite, I really miss you so TuT

I forgot where this was from, but it's at Basement of Raffles City.

[フル] SCREW 「CAVALCADE」 2013年11月06日発売

SCREW has a new song!!! And omg, everyone looks so great. A lot of comments were quite negative about this song, especially the spam of autotuning and how their music has changed ever since major but I think they're still the SCREW I like so I'll like them still!! I think I started listening to them since Ancient Rain or probably earlier, I can't remember but omg, I really want to see them live so badly.

Speaking of which, they're going to be attending Sundown Festival 2013, along with D=Out, you can find out more about the event here: https://www.facebook.com/mysundownfestival

Tickets are pretty affordable, but I'm still thinking about it cos' this month was way over budget for me, and if I go, I REALLY want the VIP one so I can see them upclose... $138 is really affordable compared to those kpop concerts I've attended (laughs) but the only issue is it's a 8hours concert (dies) and there doesn't seem to be a schedule... Unless they don't wanna reveal it to avoid situation where an artist is performing with no audiences...

Oh well. I'll probably think about it and if my budget allows, I'm going even if alone!!! I'll definitely see SCREW!!!!!!! And I'm really excited about the AFA booths and end of year KL trip. I hope everything will go really well and I'll have a blast!

3 more weeks to tank until I get over this shitty month. 頑張ります!

Just a little positivity,

Due to work and other stuff, I had to search up for some "positive" content lately and I happen to stumble upon this channel which I quite like, SoulPancake. Nope, it's not because I like Pancakes... Well, sort of.

They come up with a few series and my personal favourite is The Science of Happiness. Well, not because I think the host is cute (okay, the host is cute), but because of the topic they touch on and how interesting the facts were. Some of the comments were skeptical but hey, why so serious, all these are good and positive stuff so might as well embrace them and feel a little happier.

Watch their videos and gain a bit of positivity too :-)

Laneige Sleeping Mask: Water Sleeping Pack_EX

I have no idea when I actually bought this, but well, jwen went to Korea back then and I thought I could ask her to buy for me ^_^ It was during the period when I bought that pretty useless egg pore thing. Okay, I found through that post that this was bought during April, lol.

Pretty decent stuff I must say. It absorbs well, smells good, and is really nice to use. Best of all, you do feel the water in your skin the next day when you wake up. Since Singapore's weather is so hot and humid and disgusting, putting this night mask once in a while is really nice.

I'm so lazy to talk about the benefits cos' I honestly don't know anything when I bought it and just bought it cos' I thought it looked pretty cool and yea, it smells really nice (lulz) so you can read up on it here if you would like: http://www.laneige.com.sg/product/detail.jsp?prdtCd=214157002

The price in Singapore is PRETTY steep, but I think you can use it for a couple of months so it's worth the price that you're paying for! It's definitely cheaper if you buy from Korea itself, so if you have a friend who's going, maybe you can ask them (poor friend though).

Here's the deal: I have like 5-6 packs of samples, or maybe more... And I'm not sure if anyone wants them. If you would like to get a pack or two from me, let me know?

There was some sale back then and I bought their Refiner and Emulsion thingy which I'll talk about next time if I remember and then we, being singaporeans, grabbed a handful of tester pack they had - and ofc, i didn't realize it was the same mask I had bought lulz.

I also have another sleeping mask that I like, which I think gives REALLY good results too, like visible stuff the very next day, and it's Naruko. I'll talk about it next time, if I can find the photos again and un-lazy myself...

Changes & A long whining post。

Honestly, I can't make up my mind on a template to use, so I am sticking to this for now because I like green, in particular, mint green and lime green. The header isn't really to my taste but I'm too lazy to do anything about it right now. Let's just do it... When I feel like it.

A lot had happened lately, the biggest change is probably my working hours are now adjusted from 10am to 7pm to help facilitate communication with my outsourcers and freelancers. Time zone difference is such a bitch tbh, sometimes I end up working till 8+ just to sort shit out with them and since most of them are from India, we have like a couple of hours in between o m g. But anyway, I had agreed to the adjustment without thinking much since I thought I could sleep in a while more, but then I realize the real issue...  I can never get home early anymore 囧囧囧 There goes my plan of reaching home by 7pm daily and going for a jog 囧

I really want to jog but jogging in the night alone is SUCH A SCARY THING. There's a jogging track at the canal behind my house and tbh, even at 8-9pm there's still people there but I'm REALLY not a fan of the dark (i sleep with lights on tbh). Urgh. Now I can decide to either wake up earlier everyday to go jog, or I can stay fat for life, which I doubt I want to... Or maybe I might.

But i'll try to work hard, mainly because of my horrible health and how I'm getting all sorts of allergic reactions and stuff, urgh. Life's such a pain sometimes, actually, all the time.

I've also finally started on Daomu, chinese novel, and this is REALLY bad because I keep reading and reading and reading and I can't stop at all. It's so exciting and so creepy at the same time, but damn, you wanna read more cos' it's so intriguing.

Nothing much happens nowadays that is worth being happy about, but going out with friends once in a while for a good meal is definitely a good thing. Met Sam yesterday and went to Ichiban Hoshi (?) for dinner and I DEFINITELY ordered too much. Or rather, I didn't know their portions were THIS huge.

Mama flew off to New Castle a couple of days ago, and to be quite honest, I'm jealous sobs. Everyone else is flying overseas for studies, for leisure and for idk what but I'm stuck here feeling more miserable than I am ytd and idk, sometimes I'm so tired I just wanna unwinddddddd.

Made a pact with Sam to visit S.Korea next year. Let's save money and make this happen.

Also i sincerely hope I can go to Comic Fiesta in KL this December... Time to find Kaki.

「Belief ~春を待つ君へ~」 Music Video

I LOVE FLUMPOOL AND I LOVE MAYDAY. AND I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE COLLABS TOGETHER AND SING BOTH IN CHINESE AND JAPANESE AND HOW THEY HAVE A COMBINED CONCERT TOGETHER AND NO IT'S IN JAPAN SO I CAN'T WATCH IT GDI.

I HOPE ONE DAY THEY WILL COME TO SG TOGETHER AND PERFORM ON THE SAME STAGE. I MIGHT JUST CRY.

Finally it's time for the annual school festival by Waseda Shibuya Senior High School! They're located at West Coast and to be honest, I didn't notice this festival until like... Last couple of years. I went last year and it was a blast! Can't wait to go this weekend!

The students are really warm and nice and it's cool to see a class unite to put something up together and have fun together. This is probably something we can't experience in local schools. New shoe.

A lot of things happened lately, mostly unhappy things, mostly things that I don't really want to talk about.

Basically things just aren't going well, a lot of things has changed and also health seems to be getting worse than before.

Which is why I have decide to change my lifestyle bit by bit hoping it might bring some positive changes in time to come hahaha

So i bought this shoe hehe. Hopefully i'll be able to start jogging and build up stamina and fix this dumb body...

Also we went to Ikea to eat after we bought the shoe lolol. I really am desperately wanting to revamp my whole room and get a new change. Sigh.

Idk.

Tamoya Udon House

Editing a really old post to update more photos cos' i realize the photos I posted back in 2013 was pretty meh. Hahaha

Tbh i havent eaten much udon before, and one of the first few I ate was Tamoya and I am glad to say that thanks to them I'm now a fan! Lol

Pretty affordable and yummy udon, you get a wild variety of udon selection and also side-dishes that you can add on~

Back in 2013, i was young (not) and broke (still am) and was introduced to Tamoya by a friend. We went to the Liang Court branch to dine together and I would say as a first-time-eating-udon, it was a great taste :9

I have a thing for cold noodles so when I first visited, i ordered zaru udon, and the 2nd time i went, i ordered Sanuki which is some light soy sauce soup base i believe.

The noodles are really chewy and really long (laughs) i like how chewy they are and it tastes really good too.

They have curry udon, and a lot of other variation of udon there. In addition, you can also add-on your favourite(s) from their variety of tempura and fried ebi, chicken culet etc. I tried their shitake mushroom, was a bit cold but taste good still (i dont think the taste can diff too much huh) and also cutlet. Cutlet's a bit hard to chew but i think it would taste better if i didnt leave it to the last to eat. I do take a long time to eat noodles so i guess that could be why half my add-ons were getting cold by the time i ate it hahaha.

Nonetheless, i guess it was pretty worth the price and try though the portion might look a bit small, when it really isn't. I think i'll go back there again and try other stuff on their menu ^_^

And now in 2015, i'm stuck on them and became a frequent customer LOL i really love their udon and definitely gonna go back for more :9 :9 :9

Singapore Zoo + River Safari Throwback

After the mishap of the blogskin that I accidentally replaced and couldn't find anymore, I got stuck with this pink skin... I had totally forgotten that the previous time I logged on was to post the Zoo photos, laughs.

So here it is, Bro was the one who took the pictures and since he uploaded EVERYTHING onto Facebook, I shall just save some I thought looked pretty decent and then post them up here. Sigh I really really really like that Red Panda and wanna take it home ;___;

First off, from da zoo:

I'm so lazy I didn't even put the same animals together, lol. Of course this wasn't all the animals there is, but these are the few that we managed to get decent photos of... The place started to get crowded from noon and getting a decent photo became pretty hard - PLUS - a few animals here and there were napping or hiding or simply just running around and we couldn't get photos Boo.

And from the River Safari

the very cute and fat and fluffy Kai Kai, don't ask me how to differentiate them, idk.

and the VERY VERY VERY CUTE RED PANDA AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Since the River Safari isn't fully opened yet, there isn't much things to look at that place yet, and also the traffic is pretty fine too, not as crowded as the Zoo, and the food is really cute too! The panda buns especially, really cute, and it's pretty yummy too (red bean paste)! I also bought a drink for the cup ^ ^

Since I'm lazy, I shan't elaborate or maybe I'll just add in another day....

Good night.
